The waterproject in Kilema

2. March 2014 Off By walter.koch

Dear Friends of P.A.P.A. Bridge,
As announced a few weeks ago , we are going to tell you about our successful water project in Kilema / Tanzania. On our last visit to the village end of 2013, we brought the water treatment into service. The necessary equipment was transported already half a year previously in containers to the village, so we could all focus on implementing the technology. After three days of adventurous work and a lot of sweat, our team has succeeded in building the pump station as well as laying a 500m long pump line. Then we could take the water treatment technology in operation and eventually provide the water to drink water. We are full of pride and pleasure that we can now supply our vocational school and the village with pure water. As we have already pre-planned, the next stage would be a bottle production and filling station which we could produce salable, bottled drinking water with. Though this is another challenging project for the future.

Here we show you a few photos of our water project:

At this point it is time to express our special thanks to Heinz Sackl with his team and its network. He was the project manager in the background who has planned and implemented this project with a lot of passion and dedication since 2012. Many thanks to you and your helpers ! Furthermore, also a big Thank you to Franz Klein, who has supported us as an aid worker with his great experience three days tirelessly during this project.

We have thank all of you, the donors and friends of the P.A.P.A.-Bridge, thank you for your loyalty, your interest and your prayers.

We wish you all the best and God bless you,
Walter Koch, Chairman
Father Aidan, Tanzania
