Statusreport by the turn of the year

At the turn of this year we would like to send you a short status report of our activities. Upfront, Father Aidan sends you the following lines:

Dear friends of Kilema!
Greetings to you all. The year is ending and we are celebrating Christmas. It is not obvious that we have succeeded so much. In the background is God who gives us so many graces. Kilema VTC and the opening on 07.07.2012, and the donated container with the great machines and equipment are a great blessing for all and especially for the young people in Kilema. Their future looks better now. Thanks to all sponsors and hard-working donators! With all my heart I wish you a grace-full Christmas and a successful, healthy and happy new year 2013. Especially my heartfelt gratitude goes to the team in Austria with his PAPA Bridge Board and to all our benefactors. I wish you all happy holidays and a lot of joy and God’s blessing.

This is our current short report:
1) The sponsorship program is running well, and we now have about 20 sponsor-parents for needy students in Kilema.
PLEASE MAKE FURTHER PROMOTION FOR OUR SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM!

2) Our sister Innocentia in the school in Kilema at present is the focal point for the sponsorship-program and the daily worries.
She is sending us these nice lines:
“We have more than 100 students in the following classes: masonry, tailoring, welding, catering, I’m sure all poor children would have so many things to say to each family sponsor or individual donor, mostly words of thanks, words of MERRY. CHRISTMAS AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR 2013th We closed school on the 7th, November, 2012 and we will open the school for the next semester on the 14th, January, 2013. On behalf of the school and all the sponsored children I’m wishing each one individually MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A VERY PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR 2013. May the almighty God bless you all in all ”
3) The completion of the workshop is going well and we are satisfied. We have received the following pictures:
4) The search for the new director is a bit more difficult than planned because of the conditions in Tanzania and our high expectations. In the meantime, the interim director and Sr.Innocentia afford a really good job.
That’s all for now.
